Do you remember the Seat's small sedan, named Toledo? It was first introduced in 1991, but its production ended in 2019, after 4 generations. In its first 2 generations, this model was a compact sedan in the same category with the VW Golf/Jetta and the Seat Leon (C-Segment).
But in 2004, the Spanish brand decided to do an experiment: They took the Altea (which was a compact MPV) and turned it into a liftback, by making its rear design similar to Renault Vel Satis. This new model became the third generation of Toledo and it was the only MPV-liftback mixture that was mass-produced ever! Awful, huh? However, the final generation of the model became again a sedan, but this time as a rebadged Skoda Rapid and until 2019.
This situation made me wonder what would happen if the 3rd generation of Toledo was also a sedan, as the other ones. For sure it would share the same platform as the Leon and it would have the brand's design language of that era. So, I tried to sedan-ize the Leon Mk2, but the final result looks more like a fastback. However, it looks more satisfying than the real-life 3rd gen Toledo. As a bonus, I spawned from this alternative Toledo a 2nd gen Leon station wagon (the SW version of the Leon was normally introduced in 2013, in its 3rd gen)
